I read the book. I'm not clear on something. Are Rant Casey and Green Taylor Simms the same person? I'm pretty sure Chester and Rant are the same person, right?
If anyone has the details on this, or maybe a website with the whole space-time continuum chart of all that, that would be helpful.

Yeah. Rant, Chester, and Green Taylor Simms are all the same person.
Green Taylor is the Rant that kept raping his mother (and grandmother, and so on), Chester is the Rant that went back to try and stop Green, but arrived late. Rant always disappears and becomes Chester.
Anyway, I'm not sure if there is a 'timeline' but I know that it's written in a cyclical temporality, so that may not even help.
But, yeah, basically they are all the same person at various stages in life.
